Sunday, January 27, 2013 - A light straw yellow with a floral scent. Nice acidity and balance with green apple prominent. I anticipated that Grgich would be more buttery, but this young wine reminds me more of a crisp Burgundy at this point. The finish is light, pleasant and lingering well out beyond a minute. Matches well with New England fish chowder on a cold night.
