91 Points

Thursday, October 5, 2017 - Always a pretty good wine, with a nice amount of character on it. The nose really spoke of Italy - raisins, sundried tomatoes, roasted capsicums, a dash of dried herbs - all smelling of sunshine and earth. It was more savoury on the palate, almost salty, with subtle dark fruit accents weaving their way through earth and meat and herb and oregano herb. Good tannins and decent acidity kept it all light and lithe on its feet. A very character-driven wine, and quite enjoyable at that.
