Monday, April 25, 2011 - Dank over two nights. Slight bricking on rim. Initial nose is on the full side with soy sauce, graphite, iodine and blood orange. Initial palate is a little tannic and austere, but the mid palate quickly opens up and fleshes out. Still plenty of fruit. Tannins stick around for the duration, but not in an overbearing way. Really nice fruit concentration. Very clean bottle with great energy and decent intensity. Finish thins out a little, but still shows some life. Was enjoyable with and without food. For a Village-level bottle very nice.
