Friday, March 7, 2014 - What a nose! Honey, flowers, lychee, violet and mango just jump into your nose. Beautiful golden color. Lovely and languorous on the palate, lots of botyris, tastes like all of the above with the particular impression of crushed flowers soaked in honey. 30 to 45 second finish. Maybe compared to other sweet wines it doesn't have the extra dimension that an Yquem has on the best days, but then again it also costs less than a quarter of a good Yquem. A great quality/price and great on an absolute level as well.
