Tuesday, August 5, 2014 - Opaque purple garnet. Very ripe brambly aromas of dark dried fruit. There's a salty smoked meat, brambly, slightly mineral character on the nose. The palate is rich and medium to full bodied with some acid to hold it together. Raisined on day two. Very ripe and could've easily been mistaken for a zin.
