Sunday, July 14, 2013 - Relative to my prior note, this showed substantially more oak on both the nose and the palate. The pleasant underlying stone and floral elements were still there, but altogether I found this less balanced and more brusque than my previous experience. The acidity is still solid and persistent, keeping this from becoming too flabby. Nonetheless, I would hope for more bottles like the prior one and less like this, given my druthers.
