Monday, January 1, 2018 - Deep red color. Aromas of blueberries, black cherries, leather and wood spices. Ripe, highly extracted but balanced fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length and fully integrated tannins and oak. Nicely cool and suave on the palate. While just now reaching the beginning of its peak drinking period, it was delicious with the tasty lamb, pork and chicken kabobs at Kanella Restaurant.
