Friday, October 16, 2020 - Some barnyard flavors and cherries on the nose; well-balanced on the palate: not too heavy for a C9dP, alcohol in check and no baked fruit flavors, fine acidity, sweet cherry fruit, also some earth and barnyard flavors (brett), spicy and slightly vegetal with licorice notes, soft texture and gentle tannins and matching acidity. A rather classy Chateauneuf-du-Pape. At or near peak drinking window for my palate. - 90 points
