Sunday, June 17, 2018 - Time travel in a bottle. The boal is superb. A vibrant twang of acid sharpens the flavors of island spices and brown sugar, and averts the painful sweetness old madeiras often have. This should be enjoyed in small glasses with a friend who, like you, was alive in 1968 and remembers the drama and tragedy of the the times. This is what aged wine should be -- evocation of memory and delight of present senses.
