90 Points

Wednesday, July 29, 2015 - As expected, this wine has remained quite consistent over the past 18 months from when I first opened a bottle (Dec 2013). This has never been a big brawny, full bodied shiraz. Instead, it's more medium bodied and smoother; pairing very well with food. Cherry was the dominant fruit note and while it does have the gamey/spicy qualities one expects from a shiraz, they are more integrated with the body of the wine. Also, no harsh, tannic drying notes on the finish. Enjoyable bottle to drink, great QPR and I'm pleased with how this wine has held up.
