Saturday, June 5, 2010 - At The Ledbury. Dark ruby, youthful appearance. Nose somewhat reticent with blackberry fruit and some rich soil and mineral notes emerging. Medium/full bodied, more expressive on the palate with blackberry fruit, spice and rich soil, not much pepper or gameyness, silky tannins, harmonious medium/good length finish. Pretty good and certainly ready if lacking a little complexity and that wild cornas edge.
