Friday, May 11, 2012 - Prominently aromatic but very pleasing and complex oak treatment over a nice core of red berries. The smoky, buttery, vanilla oak creates a smooth, almost elegant mouthfeel. Nice depth, ripe and sweet but in fine balance. An excellent value California pinot. Off the list at the Madison Club.
