Wednesday, July 11, 2012 - Generally similar to a previous bottle. Beautiful if heavy oak treatment helps smooth the slightly confected nose of mixed berries, cotton candy and bubble gum. Lovely balance on the palate. Not a huge amount of pinot noir character, but a fun wine and good value for drinking in the short term. A lengthy decant will help blow off a bit of fumey alcohol. By the glass at Fresco.
