Saturday, February 5, 2011 - Not all that typical for a Cabernet. The color is more the magenta of a Merlot. There is a grapy vanilla on the nose, that continues on to the palate. Less than medium bodied. Light blackberry on the roof of the mouth. Minimal tannins and acid, but don't get any alcohol burn at 13.5%. Can't tell if there is much or any oak, A little too light, expected more.
