Saturday, November 12, 2022 - During a blind tasting dinner. We had two Kracher TBA side by side on the finish. I am not much of a sweet wine drinker, clearly preferring the Spaetlese/Moelleux level of sweetness vs. Licoreux. I never had these Kracher wines again, they reminded me of a vin doux naturel from South of France. Both were of good quality, the TAB 7 Zweigelt, made out of a red grape even sweeter, darker color, lots of brown sugar, rhum aromas, very complex. The TBA 7 Chardonnay also had lots of sweetness, tobacco leaves, and fig.
