Lovely bright blackcurrant and a little spice. The attack is good, but gives way to a very bitter after taste, even a touch sulphurous. Shame, because I was so excited to drink this again.
UPDATE: Day 2 this wine has improved massively! The off-balance between the attack and mid palate has disappeared and the wine is much closer to how I remember it now. Beautiful. How strange. Maybe the 6 months and contrasting storage conditions played a role... score changed from 87 to 91
