Thursday, April 25, 2013 - Classic example of why we own red Bordeaux and look at them for years before drinking them. Dark fruit and a little earthy. Decanted for about 1 and a half hours. Did not feel it needed more. Three bottles consumed from 2009 through 2011 were superb, but seemed to offer improvement with more time. This bottle was spectacular, but did not seem it will improve a lot. The pro reviewer drink window says it is good until 2027. I am taking 5 years off of that back year for my purposes. I know this is a little out of step with concensus, but it is how I see it.
