Concentrated, round, long, deep and complex, the wine feels like each berry has been polished with velvet. There is more than enough layers of fruit here to keep any taster busy. The wine continued improving in the glass for hours. This has morphed into a true classic example of a great, fully mature Pauillac that is well worth the money asked today.
