Sunday, January 25, 2009 - Took a very long time to open, with a rather mute nose and quiet palate, but the wine opened up finally 3 hours in to reveal cedar, currant, grippy tannins, a nice finish. I suspect less-than-optimal storage, but the greatness of the wine managed to shine through in the end.
