Saturday, July 11, 2020 - Colour: perfect pale (gold). Deep on nose with saline notes. Lovely. Entirely as expected for mature Lafon Charmes. Good concentration on palate, flavours reflecting nose sustained to long finish. Cote d'Or depth and precision (cf eg Macon).This is textbook Meursault. My last bottle of this vintage and a real treat. Mature but if this was the first bottle in a case i would be in no particular hurry based on this showing. Though why wait?
