Wednesday, December 26, 2012 - This was lively, tart and fresh despite its age. Just a little caramel in the otherwise green/yellow color, the nose leapt from the glass with oak, vanilla butterscotch notes. Crabapple, grass and lemon-lime flavors. The oak becomes more apparent as it warms as does a butterscotch roundness to balance the acidity. Butterscotch on a longish finish.
