Saturday, December 7, 2013 - A little musty on opening with little other aromas, after an hour in a decanter the mustiness was gone and dark earthy forest floor with dark fruit started to emerge after 2.5 hours the wine opened up. Medium weight on palate with dark berry fruit dominating with a bit of raisen. The finish was long with diminishing fruit after 3.5 hours. A nicely aged wine but a bit passed its peak in our opinion. Wish we had another bottle.
