Thursday, September 22, 2016 - This was drinking surprisingly well. I was expecting a more angular young wine--this was quite smooth and balanced. Had the polish expected from Beaucastel with a great red fruit core, pepper, spice, and a little garrigue. Palate is perfectly fresh but quite expansive. Lengthy finish with some sandalwood. Really delicious. Young but drinking so well very reasonable to drink now.
