Saturday, January 28, 2012 - Had over the course of two days. On the first day the wine was a bit tight, this description written on the second day after the wine had opended up and some of the astringency dissipated. Color - Garnet, clear; Nose - dark red fruit (strawberries, rasperries, wild berries), white pepper, cola, some oak; Palatte - medium bodied, low-med tannin, medium-high acidity, bright red berries with light and airy mouthfeel, smooth finish, nice length; Will hang onto the other 2 bottles for a few years before opening.
