Monday, August 8, 2011 - Pop & pour, had to demolish the stubborn cork so decanted through a mesh filter. Dark purple. Ripe on the noise and following the palate with jammy blackberries and cherries. With air a stale wood, vanilla-oak finish becomes more apparent. My last bottle and a good call to drink up; previous bottles showed better than this.
