Thursday, July 14, 2016 - Medium yellow gold in color, with a thinning meniscus. A nose of Meyer lemon, green apple, honeysuckle and oyster shell. Medium bodied with very good intensity, deft handling of oak, the fruits carrying through to a saline- and crushed rock-laced finish. This was an excellent aperitif, though could have paired very well with grilled chicken. Oh well, our only bottle from our former Iron Horse Club membership.
