Tuesday, November 16, 2021 - To me 2007 has alway been a long age vintage, but I still persist in drinking them too young! Decanted this Abreu Thor. for a few hours as I thieved small pours over the ensuing 4 hours Well balanced and built but not as exciting as I would prefer. Bouquet was initially non existent until the last glass. Had a slight warmth ( but not hot) on the finish and a faint bitterness. Big powerful wine and IMO this blend will need a few more years 2 + to get passed these attributes, but has the structure to go another 20+! Hope to get better results from the next bottle in a few years.
