Sunday, November 1, 2015 - Wife says, "Whatever this is, I give it a 10" (that's 10/10 on a 1-10 scale). Decanted for about 3 hours. My novice assessment: great fruit on the nose, a bit of earth but prominent red fruit on the palate. Quite tannic even after the decant. Good finish, although you have to fight through the tannins to appreciate it. This ought to improve with another 5-15 years, but certainly enjoyable now with a prolonged decant.
