Spicy nose. Oak and acid on the palate initially and didn’t settle down as much as I hoped it would over 4 hours of drinking.
The tannins grip and the whole thing has great structure but lacks character and charm.

Fig and raisin on the fruit side but very muted. I feel that this will be in a better place some years along the line.
