Friday, September 21, 2018 - Mid garnet to mahogany red rim.
Noted development on the bouquet with sweet fig, balsamic, incense, date, ripe banana, wet christmas cake and damp tobacco leaves. There are lightly toasted spices, mincemeat (for mince pies) as wines opens, and even a little antique leather desk. The aromas keeps drawinng you back for more. Very enticing!

A medium-bodied wine with fabulous complexity and a sprightly acidity underpinning the array of fruits. Quite firm, chamois leather tannins with pronounced flavours of wet spices, savoury, leather, mincemeat, dried fig and more. Very complex and deep. Still resolving but almost there. Outstanding!
