Sunday, June 8, 2014 - A lovely bottle. Well past its prime, but with some magical moments of tertiary flavors that remind us why we love old Nebbiolo wines. With a foundation of bittersweet cherry, earth, forest, and tobacco, there were hints of roses, licorice and mint that brought smiles to our faces. This bottle had good but not great storage conditions and so based on it I would say that this vintage of this wine should be drunken up immediately.
