Saturday, August 28, 2010 - Pretty light, amber/red color with some copper bricking. Nice, classic Barolo nose or tar, roses and menthol. Lots of acidity. A little shallow on the mid palate, with cherry, spice and menthol carrying through on the palate. Did I mention lots of acidity! Decent amount of tannins left. I question if the fruit will hold up long enough for this to ever totally integrate. Good and nice to drink, but was expecting better.
