Friday, December 30, 2016 - Decent pinot. Fine oak spices and bramble fruit on the nose, with some mushroomy earth. A bit dense and dumb on the palate; not much finesse or charm. But there is a tasty blood-orange brightness. All in all, I like this wine. Solid tannic structure. I'm optimistic that this wine will improve with a few years of bottle age.
