Tuesday, February 21, 2012 - SIGHT: pale ruby fading to layers of pink with clear rim. Medium minus concentration and viscosity. NOSE: light perfume, granite, strawberry, melted black cherry. PALATE: muted with wet rock, strawberry, mineral water, new leather, ground white pepper, bubble gum. ASSESSMENT: medium to low alcohol with medium acidity. Medium minus tannins with not much complexity or finish. This wine could have been confused with a young gamay. Nothing memorable here.
