Saturday, October 13, 2012 - Decanted about an hour before served with braised short ribs. Inky garnet color. Notes of black currants, cassis, black cherry and licorice. Firm tannins have a sweet edge; cassis, brown sugar and black fruit notes with a long finish. Well-balanced, but tight and oh so young. Drink 2015-2025.
