Sunday, June 12, 2022 - glass-staining purple-black, highly viscous, dense and opaque. initially, the bouquet was massively fruity… blackberry and blueberry jam, vanilla. with air, it opens to reveal more savoury notes, leather, earth, spice. palate is soft, round, velvety, luxurious. full-bodied with sweet and savoury flavours, it closes with a lengthy zesty finish. the depth and complexity improved over the 4 hrs this was enjoyed.
