Friday, July 2, 2021 - Unsure of disgorgement but the color (med. gold) and cork shape make me think this has 10+ years in bottle.
Moderate bubbles within; lively nose of lemon, stonefruit, yeast; fuller mouthfeel with flavors of stonefruit, mushy apple, bread. Alcohol is noticeable.
This wine would represent well in a blind Champagne tasting.

1/5/2022 6:37:00 PM - Your description is a spot-on reflection of my own experience with this sparkling wine tonight. I'm guessing 15+ yrs of age (FWIW, cork branded 03071, label coded L0557-07057005419). A recent throw-in gift from a merchant to fill-out a case purchase as I was leaving his store. Have a multiple of 6-figure$ of cellared Champagne, this is first Italian/Franciacorta ever and am SUPER impressed!
