Saturday, May 31, 2014 - Friend brought over for dinner, recent purchase from winery. Needed some time to breathe for full flavors to come through, but initial nose upon opening was lovely. Deep rich color. Very mouth filling, with a little vanilla, lots of dark fruit and some earthiness. Tasted best after being open and decanted for 2 hours or so. Notes from memory a day later.
