Sunday, September 8, 2013 - Overall, this wine is quite nice. It is the sort of the glass one would feel lucky to stumble upon during a long day of wine tasting through Napa. In that, it is not a wine of boundless complexity or persisting layers, but it is balanced, well executed, and thoroughly enoyable. 2 thumbs and big wine glass up!
Tone: This wine is dark, ruby, and nearly opaque in the glass
Nose: Incredibly fragrant; a lovely bouquet. Hints of honey, goat cheese, and orange peel with a reminiscence of cherry
Palate: Really nice on the palate. Very firm attack with clear tones followed by a vivacious mouthfeel. Medium-to-full body. Nice Napa terrior. Not overly complex yet, but highly enjoyable
Finish: Finish is pleasant, but not epic or particularly long-lasting
