Monday, April 10, 2017 - Dark garnet in the glass. Nose of black fruit, smokey leather with that characteristic S African rubber. Full body, medium plus acidity, medium tannins give it surprisingly good structure. Palate of black currant, smokey rubber (like a car doing donuts). In a good place now. Could hold for a couple more years, but why? Beef or game meats roasted with root vegetables would be a good pairing.
