Wednesday, August 20, 2014 - The wine is a dark garnet color and is clear and translucent. The smells are cherry, damp forest floor; black currant, black olive, and strawberry with floral scents. The tastes are cherry, cedar, olive, stone, herbs, and dry leaves. The acidity is zingy while the tannins like course, furry velvet. The finish is long and seems a little woody.
