COLOR: Lightest, most translucent Grenache ever. Garnet-ruby that you can see through no matter how much wine is in the glass. Like a light PN.

NOTE: Most unusual Grenache ever. Nose is a cross of brambly Zin fruit, funky Beaujolais carbonic maceration and RRV PN. No heat, and very bizarre. Mouth is no different. It seems light-bodied, but it defies logic with a heavy raspberry/sweet cranberry presence. Mouth also has smoky notes. This wine's body is light but full, like an amazing PN. Gossamer on steel. And yet it's still not my style. The finish is dry, tannic, bordering on stemmy, but still has deep fruit. Weird.
