Friday, May 22, 2015 - This wine hits its stride 30 minutes or so into its time in the decanter. Tannins are present but a bit more resolved than I would have expected. Early secondary flavors are present in this merlot-heavy Medoc blend. Classic, medium bodied, and balanced, but nothing to make it really stand out and shine. Still, very enjoyable and a good match with porterhouse from the charcoal grill.
