Sunday, July 2, 2006 - A very floral nose! Some roses and some honeysuckle, but mostly other flowers with a little pear. To my surprise, it effortlessly carries its 14% alcohol. The label says the flavors are ginger and lychee, but the ginger is mild if present at all (although some other spices are there.) Fairly long, tingling, clean finish. Off-dry. Nice balance. Seems fair value at AU$22. Screwcap. Would have given a higher score if the flavors had been more concentrated.
