Friday, August 1, 2008 - We won this bottle at the law society inter-firm law quiz. Not a bad NV at all - I was not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. This has probably benefitted from some bottle age. Bread, rather than yeast, and appley fruit on the nose, rather fruitier and more open than I thought it would be. Palate was very one-dimensional, with more baked bread flavours and a lot less fruit, but it was nicely balanced, with rather largish mousse, but good acid and body. Nice length too - very minerally.
