Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Straw gold in color. Small and medium sized streams and interspersed bubbles. Aromas of brioche, lemon-lime egg custard, toasted butter, and a yeasty bread quality along with a hint of ripe pears. A beautiful mousse, accentuating the lemon lime notes and ripe red apple peel. Key lime pie lingers on for a long time, with roasted pecans and smoked almonds. A touch of bitter tangerine peel and some tannic bite hang on the finish. Complex and very interesting. One to be savored and paired with buttery foods. Very nice.
