Wednesday, March 11, 2015 - Cherries and dark berries, tobacco, spices on the nose. Great depth and richness, but not jammy at all. Very youthful on the palate with powerful, round but drying tannins, revealing ripe, pure fruit. There is lots of acidity, too. The wine is impeccably well balanced already. Spicy and mineral towards the persistent and intense finish. This needs lots of time but will be superb. 95-96+(+)
