Sunday, March 23, 2014 - While this is not a typical Cabernet Sauvignon, it was clearly a hot year in 2010, giving this a sweetish taste. As others have noted the fruit-forward character is reminiscent of an Australian Shiraz. Color is a dark purple. Aroma - huckleberry, juicy dark berries a touch overripe, black olive underneath. Taste - big jammy on fore-palate, touch of tannins at end. Went very well with food (steak and potatoes).
