Thursday, November 27, 2014 - The nose was bursting with ripe black cherry, blackberry, cinnamon, dark floral tones, and hints of wild herbs. On the palate, it was incredibly rich, yet balanced with ripe dark fruits, spice, savory dark broth and a slight bitter twang. Dried red fruit saturated the senses throughout the finish with a slight rich soil and herb tone. Darker, richer and more detail; this wine has come along nicely with a year in the cellar.
