Sunday, February 5, 2017 - Opened and left to rest for a good 2 hours. We feared some fragility here especially given the brittle cork but the wine was super healthy and showed no issues.
Has evolved quite nicely but still very much alive. Well matured on the nose, leather, tobacco, forest floor. On the palate it shows its age and the fruit is not, as expected, the juiciest it has ever been but not dry or in anyway difficult. Good acidity and a testament to great wine making here. a Solid 93-94
